Once we are engaged on a project we conduct a thorough briefing. Clients are sent questionnaires and invited to a design meeting where we establish the vision.
We begin with an initial site visit in order to familiarize ourselves with the existing conditions. If a client is unable to provide drawings of the existing conditions we will produce a complete package in CAD format.
We proceed to prepare a conceptual package focusing on our design philosophy and key design ideas. At the end of this phase we provide you with a visual direction using a selection of images, sketches and finishes.
We then develop schedules that supply details on all finishes, fixtures, fittings and equipment, and provide comprehensive elevation drawings of joinery items.
A full set of documentation is developed for construction purposes. The finishes schedule, and the fixtures, fittings and equipment schedule are all issued.
We provide advice and support throughout the construction process ensuring the outcome is as visioned. We liaise with tradesmen, review shop drawings and schedule regular site visits.
We now welcome the curatorial phase, where finishes, fabrics, lighting, rugs and unfixed furniture are meticulously designed and selected. We provide furniture layouts and a comprehensive schedule listing product descriptions, suppliers, finishes, costs and lead-times. Once presented and approved by the client, we place orders, procure items and oversee delivery to site or a predetermined location.
Once projects are entirely formed as envisaged, we move onto the final stage of closing the project out with a series detailed records and recons. We will also prepare a house keeping manual to insure the longevity of the designed interior scheme.
